Housing Programs

Northland's Housing Support Programs provide crucial assistance to residents of Itasca County with serious mental illnesses who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. These programs help individuals secure and maintain safe, affordable housing while coordinating care with local organizations such as Grace House and other housing entities across the six-county Northeast region. As part of the NE Continuum of Care, Northland's initiatives are integral to HUD-funded housing efforts and strategies aimed at ending homelessness. Services include housing stabilization for those with mental illness, physical health issues, or disabilities, and permanent supportive housing units at Aurora Heights. For more specialized housing needs, Beacon Hill and Hearth Connection offer targeted support, all facilitated through professional case management.
