Veterans Burial Flags

To honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides a burial flag at no cost to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran. This special tribute is available to honorably discharged veterans who served during wartime, after January 31, 1955, or on active duty after May 27, 1941, as well as certain peacetime veterans and members of the Selected Reserves. It’s a meaningful way to recognize their dedication to our country and preserve their legacy with honor.
