The district has been fully accredited by the State of Missouri and has been awarded the "Distinction in Performance award for the last six years. New Haven is an 'A+ School' meaning graduates can attend two years of community college or state technical, tuition-paid, by meeting a few requirements. Recently, The US Department of Education announced that New Haven High School has been selected as a 2015 Blue Ribbon School.
