Start with Circle time: Introduce yourself to the group. Come up with a pose or a movement with your body to demonstrate to the group. The group attempts each others pose. We go over the definition of yoga and aerial yoga. What an affirmation is and why we use them. (ex: Kindness is my superpower) Team building exercises. Example: Move a ball around the circle without using your hands. Holding hand, bring a hook hoop around the circle. After we play a fun game ex: collecting pom-poms with their toes. A yoga warm-up, teaching some basic yoga floor poses. After we introduce the Aerial yoga hammock. The children will take turns learning approx 10 aerial poses (if you have over 5 children they will alternate) Finishing with Aerial yoga partner time.
