Access, Inclusion & Disability Services

Helping students with disabilities to be successful at CMC

Access, Inclusion & Disability Services Colorado Mountain College assists students with disabilities with their college classes. Individuals with disabilities who attend or plan to attend CMC may receive reasonable accommodations, academic adjustments, and/or auxiliary aids in order to have equal access in the classroom.

The laws requiring post-secondary institutions to provide these services to otherwise qualified students include Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Support services are structured to meet the individual needs of students who have disabilities and who are registered with the Access Coordinator on campus.
