Vesper Energys Hornet Solar project is situated on 2,600 acres in Swisher County, TX. With a nameplate capacity of 500 MW, the project is planned to reach commercial operation in 2023. The project will utilize solar photovoltaic technology on a single-axis tracking system. Hornet Solar will interconnect to Oncor Electrics transmission system in ERCOT and is contracted with a Fortune 100 company under a long-term power purchase agreement.
