School Transportation

South Central Illinois Mass Transit District (SCT) is pleased to introduce our Child Monthly Pass service, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for your child to and from school within the city limits. For a flat rate of $40.00 per child, regardless of the direction of travel, you can rest assured that your child will be transported comfortably and securely. Our dedicated team will deliver your child promptly to school and from school to their designated destination, whether it's Grandma's house, daycare, or a neighbor's residence, all within the city limits.

Please note that all school drop-off and pick-up locations are carefully designated by the school to ensure the safety of your child. Monthly passes are valid for prescheduled transportation only and must be purchased by the 18th of the month for the following month's service. Payments can be made at any SCT facility office or via mail. Additionally, SCT now accepts debit/credit cards at the Centralia Transportation Center for added convenience. Seating is limited, so we encourage you to contact our scheduling/dispatching department today to secure your child's spot for a worry-free school commute.
